Hea R. Kim

Hea R. Kim is an artist who works with ceramics, fibres, mass-produced objects, and a host other mediums and materials, with which she creates intricate installations that evoke dream worlds. She recently presented a solo exhibition entitled Vomiting Flowers at the MAI. It featured mutating ceramic vessels, objects encrusted with bits of plastic drinking straws, and plenty of bunnies. Hea is the co-founder of The Matchbook Project, a curated collection & exchange of artworks that fit into matchboxes. We are happy to welcome her to CKUT studios for the July 4th episode!
