Anna Jane McIntyre

For September we called up Anna Jane McIntyre, who was right in the middle of installing her show at the MAI (Montréal, arts interculturels). She told us about this project, La Forêt Noire. Her practice includes drawing, printmaking, installation, and performance, among other things.

We also phoned up the House Band (Adrian) who was AWOL, off installing his own exhibition, The Bejesus, at the FoFA Gallery.

Wood Land School

For the year 2017, SBC Gallery in the Belgo Building was renamed Wood Land School, a project which explored Indigenous futurity, thought, and theory through a series of exhibitions and events.

For this episode of Out of Lines we phoned up Tanya Lukin Linklater, who talked to us about Wood Land School. Tanya is an artist/poet/writer/choreographer, and one of the organizers of Wood Land School.
