2:30pm 2:00pm to hear an interview with members of the QOULEUR Collective, a group of artists and activists based here in Montreal. Their annual festival, celebrating the identities and experiences of two-spirited, indigenous, queer, gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans* people of colour, is on now, and includes an exhibition that will run at articule until August 10th. Check out their website for the full schedule of events.
ASAH is alive and well. Just to recap, the June 5th edition of the show featured an interview with film director Andrew Neel. (You can still listen to it through CKUT's archives.) We spoke about his excellent documentary on Alice Neel, one of the great portrait painters of the 20th century. The film was released in 2007 through SeeThink Productions.
