Artist and writer Cynthia Girard came by the studio for an interview. We talked about her artistic practice and her recent exhibition at the Parisian Laundry. She also read a passage from her book J'ai percé un trou dans ma tête, an excerpt of which appears in translation in the recent publication The Coming Envelope Issue 8.

Welcome & First Episode Recap
Welcome to the blog!
Art Scene and Heard is a new radio show on CKUT 90.3 FM; we will be bringing you features on local artists and exhibitions.
Our first episode was broadcast on Thursday September 5th, 2013. We aired two interviews: first, Tram spoke with Sébastien Pluot, curator of Anarchism Without Adjectives: On the Work of Christopher D'Arcangelo 1975 - 1979, an exhibition on now at the Leonard and Bina Ellen Art Gallery. Then, we aired an interview conducted by Katerina with Julie Trudel, contemporary painter & winner of the 2013 Plaskett award.
