Hea R. Kim
Hea R. Kim is an artist who works with ceramics, fibres, mass-produced objects, and a host other mediums and materials, with which she creates intricate installations that evoke dream worlds. She recently presented a solo exhibition entitled Vomiting Flowers at the MAI. It featured mutating ceramic vessels, objects encrusted with bits of plastic drinking straws, and plenty of bunnies. Hea is the co-founder of The Matchbook Project, a curated collection
& exchange of artworks that fit into matchboxes. We are happy to welcome her to CKUT studios for the July 4th episode!

Erin Gee
We will be speaking with Erin Gee for the June edition of the show.
Erin Gee is a
media artist and composer. Her past projects have involved robots,
ASMR, video games, and interactive electronics. A central concern of her work is the intersection of human voice & emotion with technology.
Erin is from Regina, Saskatchewan and she obtained her MFA from Concordia University in Montreal. She has presented her work internationally, and she was recently invited to the University of Maine as a research associate.
Her Project H.E.A.R.T., a virtual reality work made in collaboration with Alex M. Lee, is being presented at Perte de Signal, June 7th to 15th.

Justine Skahan
Our guest for March is Justine Skahan, a Montréal-based painter whose work speaks of the domestic and the uncanny. She has participated in numerous exhibitions and was a finalist in the RBC Painting Competition in 2016. Later this month she will be showing work at Galerie.a in Québec City.
